Dental Care Services for Pets

Nothing says unconditional love more than letting a pet with “doggy breath” give you a slobbery kiss. Do you know that doggy breath is actually not normal? In fact, it is one of the earliest signs of dental problems in pets! Your furry friend’s breath should always have a neutral smell. Fortunately, with our help, you can keep your pet’s breath smelling great and as healthy as possible. Call us at 807-939-2616 for more details on our dental care services.

How often should pets get dental cleanings?

We recommend about one dental exam and cleaning per year. With the help of dental x-rays, our team will properly clean your pet’s teeth, check for any abnormalities, perform emergency extractions when needed and so much more.

Do I need to brush my pet’s teeth at home?

Yes! Ideally, pets should have their teeth brushed every single day. We can teach you how to do this safely and properly. We can also recommend brushes, toothpaste, medicated treats and other products you can use to make the process more fun for your furry friend.

Aside from bad breath, what are some other signs my pet has poor dental health?

It’s a good idea to routinely check and keep an eye on your pet’s teeth/mouth area. If you notice red/bleeding gums, loose teeth, yellowish buildup on their teeth, discharge from their mouth/nose, or blood on their food bowls/chew toys please don’t hesitate to call us right away.
